Life since March :)

So it's been a while since I have posted and pretty much all that has been going on is Joe and I are having a baby!!! By now everyone knows and I finally feel like a somewhat normal person again. The first trimester and in to my second trimester of my pregnancy was really rough.. I had horrible nausea and it was awful!! I never felt like it was going to go away, but I think after about 19 weeks I beat it :)

We found out our little monster (as we like to call her now that she has started kicking cause she is CRAZY <3 ) is a baby GIRL... we couldn't be more excited to know how healthy she is and that she is just growing everyday!!! I'm due January 4th which brings me to the middle of my 22nd week.

Joe is going to be going on deployment soon and in preparation for that he moved me back home to Ohio where he got to spend about 2 weeks and just relax. It was hard to say goodbye but we have figured out a couple more times that I will be able to go out there to see him before he leaves!! He won't be home till next summer so that means he will be gone for the birth :( we are hoping he will be able to come home after she is born for a little while to meet her before she is 6 or 7 months old..

All in all it has been such an amazing experience for both of us and i'm so glad Joe was able to be there for half of the pregnancy and he has been the best!!! He takes such good care of me and when I felt like I coulndn't get up off the couch he was always there to do whatever I needed :) I love him soo much and bringing this little girl in to the world just about brings tears to my eyes because it's the combination of Joe and I and the love that we have <3 She's a lucky lady to have such an amazing father!!

I'm Here!!!

Alright so yes I have been a slacker with this whole blog thing... So here I am!! I'm back and hope to stay in the swing of it!! I have been swamped with school work and Joe's been gone for a little over a week now and I have been just trying to stay busy!

I started out my alone time with a pilates class.. Me and Ashley went and tried it out and it was great :) We had lunch and just hung out and had some girl talk!! I tried to get some homework done and it was just not happening for me..

I had a hair appointment and got about 5 inches cut and it needed it BADDD... my hair looks so much healthier, I love it <3 Now I just need to stay on top of it and not let it get that bad again... So other than school and girl time nothing really else has been going on! I have missed having Joe around, it's so quiet :)

I also have a new obsession with Bethenny Frankel, for some reason I just find her so funny and I just love her show. I spent Monday watching a marathon of The Real Housewives of New York City and then Bethenny Getting Married? and finished just in time for her new season of Bethenny Ever After to start and I was soo excited :) Reality TV is my guilty pleasure for sure!!

So now with only a few days left before Joe gets back I am going to have to clean up my mess and finish all my homework. I don't like having anything to do when he first gets back and we are going up to Huntington Beach this weekend to hang out with our friends Rikki and Josh. It's her birthday and we are going to go celebrate with her, it will be a good time for sure!! Alright well that's my catch up!! I will be back soon :)

Hubby's Home!

So my day started out with school stuff!! I wanted to be able to have everything done so I didn't have to focus on it this weekend. So I got up pretty early to finish my an assignment and then took 2 tests :) I did fantastic on both!!

After my homework was done it was time to get ready for Joe to get home!! It was pretty rainy all day so I felt pretty lazy, but I wanted to be ready to go out by the time he got home so I had to get unlazy :)) He got home around 4:30 and we went and got some Sprinkles Cupcakes and Chipotle for dinner, it was delicious, but we were soooo hungry by the time we made it there. Since California drivers have absolutely no idea how to drive in the rain we were stuck in traffic for a while, gotta love them!! And ever since our accident I have been a crazy women in the passenger seat, I give Joe so much credit for putting up with me flinching every second :)

Once we made it home safe and sound after our time out we got in warm, comfy clothes and we watched the Grammy performances. It was good this year, but I have to say that I really wanted Justin Bieber to win Best New Artist. Some no name girl won and I think it was a shocker to everyone. We enjoyed one of our cupcakes and now we are just going to relax the rest of the night!

Okay and I just have to say that the video of the news reporter that wasn't able to form her words and started talking gibberish made me soooo scaredddd!! I just felt so bad for her.

First Blog :)

So.. This is my first blog :) I'm pretty excited to start, actually! I have always wanted to create a blog, but felt like I really didn't have much to say. I am going to try it out and see how it goes. I feel like being so far away from my family, they don't always get to feel as if they are a part of our lives!! I hope that by posting here, it will give them the chance to feel closer than they are : )

I just plan on giving you all a low down on what is going on in our lives and just what we are up to with our personal lives and the military life we live!! Joe will be having many underways coming up soon which will leave me home quite a bit...I am going to be keeping myself as busy as possible and will keep everyone filled in with what it is I am doing!!

Alright so Joe has been gone this week and I have been taking this week to get all my school work finished and catch up on the shows Joe isn't interested in and that I just let sit on our DVR :) I have kept the house really clean so that I don't have to hurry and clean it all before he gets home TOMORROW :)) Can you tell i'm excited!! We will only have a few days before he leaves again so we are going to have a full day on Saturday since he has duty on Sunday! I am so excited to see him! Okay so here it is.. the start of my blog!!
